Panel mount 4-channel weight indicator with RS485/RS232 output

The 4-channel digital indicator SD04 is a versatile and reliable panel-mount force meter compatible with strain gauge-based load cells and force sensors with mV/V output. This multi-functional indicator supports both RS485 and RS232 interfaces, allowing seamless integration with automated systems using the Modbus RTU protocol. -- 3-Sensor Mode: In this configuration, channels C1 to C3 each display the force or weight values from three individual sensors, while channel C4 shows the sum of the weights or forces from channels C1 to C3. This mode is ideal for applications where cumulative force or weight tracking is essential.

-- 4-Sensor Mode: Here, each channel, C1 through C4, independently displays the weight or force from four sensors, making it ideal for systems requiring individual sensor monitoring.

For enhanced functionality, each channel on the SD04 can be equipped with 4–20mA or -10–10V analog output, providing signals proportional to the measured values. This feature allows for flexible integration with other equipment, offering real-time control and monitoring options that align with specific operational needs.

 

The SD04 multi-channel display unit is particularly suitable for tank and hopper weighing systems utilizing three or four load cells, where it allows operators to monitor each sensor’s load status, helping to prevent overloading and ensuring system safety.
